Hello all! I hope everyone is enjoying this chilly fall weather!
I'm having a rather disturbing weekend. It all started on Friday, when my car (that I've had less than 4 months) started acting strange. I took it to the shop Saturday and they think that the major issue is the transmission (although my husband wants me to get a second opinion). That particular shop doesn't work on transmissions so I have no idea what's really wrong with my car. But while there, they told me I need new tires, a new tire rod, and rear brakes. The grand total for that would be nearly 2 grand! Needless to say, I don't have that kind of cash right now.
I also found a lump on my kitty Persephone's nipple area. So not good.
The most horrible thing of all though, is my precious boy Tibet is dying. He's an old man...I knew this time was coming. However I'm still not ready for it. Is anyone ever? :(
Needless to say, all of this has put a HUGE financial strain on me. In an effort to help myself, I am selling one of my precious Blythe dolls. I hate to do it. I love each and every girl I have brought into my home and I never intended to part with one. But given the circumstances, I don't think I have a choice.
That being said, please say hello to Sadie (formerly Dakota). She is a Sabrina Eras custom Saffy. She has had several owners but is in good used condition. She will come dressed in a white crocheted dress and hat and I will include one other outfit as an added bonus. I'm asking $600 USD (shipping is included in that price). I accept Paypal. A short layaway may be possible if need be. Please contact me if interested. More info is available on my Instagram account and at Dolly Adoption on Facebook.

Nearly a month ago, my sister gave birth to this little beauty! I'm an Auntie! Her name is Lily. :)
Unfortunately, they live in Japan...so I won't meet her til Christmas! I can't even begin to tell you how hard the waiting is!

Autumn is finally here! I decided to put out a few decorations (even though they got stolen last fall). So I found a pumpkin, mums and a few ears of Indian corn at the farmers market. It's funny how such a small arrangement makes my porch feel so welcoming...
...perhaps too welcoming! A hungry raccoon devoured one ear of corn and took the other "to go"!!
The cooler weather has brought back my desire to cook. Here you can see my two little helpers: Persephone and Khaleesi!
I've also been trying my hand at new crafts! Needle felting is fun (and occasionally painful...barbed needles...ouch)! Here's Mommy and baby turtle. :)

I leave for NYC in less than a week! I'm very excited that it's finally time for Blythecon. Rather than fly, P and I decided to go by train. It will be both of our first time traveling via Amtrak. Although it will be a looong trip, I think we'll have fun! I'm a little concerned about meeting my vegan dietary needs while on board, but I guess that what snacks are for.
Once we get to the city I have lots of vegan yummies to choose from!
We arrive Saturday evening and we will spend all day Sunday at Blythecon. I'm super excited to see all the vendors (and buy some lovely items as well)! I'm even more excited about the door prizes. So many talented people donated items from doll clothes to customized Blythes! I'd be super psyched to win a new Blythe!! :)
We leave Monday morning. It's a very short trip, made even shorter by choosing to travel by train, but we're going to pack a lot of fun into a little time!

I've been participating in A Beautiful Mess Self Portrait Challenge. It's a 30 day event. I must say it has been a challenge for me to remember to do this daily! I did pretty well for 12 days...and then I started missing days! That's ok...I'll just finish on my own schedule! :)
Here are a few of my photos (in no particular order).
Have you ever done a photo challenge? What kind?

The Blythe addiction continues. I'm starting to think I should get a new blog for all my Blythe mania.
Suki is enjoying her new teepee from theteepeeguy on etsy!
My new girl, Lucy is making toast in the kitchen. Yes, the kitchen! I took an Ikea Expedit bookcase and I'm slowly turning it into a Blythe House! It has a kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom and a rooftop garden!
Lucy and Poppy are best friends...
I've been busy with blissfullyblythe this week. Four new listings!
Oops! Lucy forgot to close the bathroom door! ;)
Poppy having a late night snack!
Wash up Miss Suki!
Lucy's first day with me...
What's for dinner?

I worried for months that it would rain on my wedding day. I obsessed about it, mainly b/c I didn't want to shell out the big bucks for a tent shelter. I was tempting fate, I know...but for once life cooperated and sent us a beautiful day! It was overcast the morning of but by noon the sky was blue and the sun was shining. Lovely!
These are iPhone photos, not the professional ones. I should have those next week sometime. Until then...
My dress. I love this dress however it was a bit of a challenge to wear because none of those layers were sewn together at the sides. If it had been a windy day, the guests would have gotten a show they hadn't bargained for! ;)
My BFF (and bridesmaid) Channon, enjoying her cupcake. I love this girl! Don't get me started on the Great Dress Disaster of 2013! I had the girls order (what appeared to be) lovely custom made summer sundresses from a girl on Etsy. The girls got their dresses back and they were HUGE! The dresses were literally falling off of them. And because the Etsy girl took so long to make the dresses, we didn't have time to send them back to her for a redo. It was such a stressful situation for my bridesmaids to deal with that I didn't want to burden them further. I told them to find any yellow dress that they would be comfortable in. So that's why my girls dresses don't match. Lol.
My lovely bouquet. I adore these sunflowers. The florist did an outstanding job on all of the flowers.
A random candid that someone snapped. I like how it turned out, although I wish that hand wasn't smack dab in the middle! I found that gorgeous flower crown on Etsy. So delicate and pretty...
The amazing cupcakes that managed to survive my pre wedding car crash (sadly they didn't all make it...but that's ok...smashed cupcakes taste just as good...there was enough perfect ones for the guests...I made hubbie eat the ruined ones...mwah haha)!
Extended family shot.
Pat was supposed to pretend that he had cold feet and was running away...I don't think he was to interested!
Our partially filled guest"book".
Cute kids. We had lots of little ones at the wedding. I made goody bags for all of them (needless to say, they were a hit). :)
We stayed in Hocking Hills for the honeymoon, in one of our favorite log cabins. We mostly just relaxed but on Monday we went on a trail ride! I rode this pretty girl...she was awesome. Pat was more than a little nervous, being that it was his first time on a horse. He did well though!
This is Gunner. He lives next door to the cabin that we stayed in. I love this guy! He loves me b/c I bring him apples and the occasional piece of hard candy (he has a sweet tooth)...something we have in common.
I'll post the professional pics soon!
